Free mt5 indicators for MetaTrader 5

These mt5 indicators are written in mql5 and work with any MetaTrader 5 broker for forex, CFDs or futures. The package includes FinzData GEX Levels and FinzData Futures Open Interest. Both indicators use MetaTrader's WebRequest to pull live data from FinzData with your free API key.

Installation is straightforward. Download the zip from https://finzdata.com/downloads/plugins/finzdata-metatrader5.zip, then File > Open Data Folder > MQL5 > Indicators, copy the files, compile in MetaEditor, then Tools > Options > Expert Advisors > Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://api.finzdata.com.

GEX levels on your chart

FinzData GEX Levels draws the gamma flip, call wall and put wall for any FinzData ticker directly on your MetaTrader 5 chart. Use it on an S&P 500 CFD or futures chart with a scale factor for SPX. The indicator refreshes every hour via webrequest.

Gamma flip is the price where dealer gamma changes sign. Above the flip dealers are long gamma and moves tend to be damped. Below the flip dealers are short gamma and moves can accelerate. Call wall is the strike with the largest call gamma, often resistance. Put wall is the largest put gamma, often support.

Open interest across futures markets

FinzData Futures Open Interest shows total open interest across every contract of any of the 139 FinzData futures markets in its own window. The value updates live via webrequest using your API key.

mql5 and webrequest setup

The indicators are native mql5 code with source included. They rely on MetaTrader's webrequest to call https://api.finzdata.com with your API key. After copying files to MQL5 > Indicators, open MetaEditor and compile.

Then in MetaTrader 5 go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors, enable Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://api.finzdata.com. Attach the indicator to a chart. The first load fetches live gex levels and open interest and then refreshes on schedule.
