FinzData skill for Claude

A ready-made SKILL.md that teaches Claude (Claude.ai, Claude Code and the Agent SDK) when and how to use FinzData: which tool answers which question, how to avoid look-ahead bias with as_of, and what the free tier covers.

Install

• Claude.ai: download finzdata.zip and upload it under Skills in Claude.ai settings.
• Claude Code: mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/finzdata && curl -s https://finzdata.com/skills/finzdata/SKILL.md -o ~/.claude/skills/finzdata/SKILL.md
• Connector: claude mcp add --transport http finzdata https://api.finzdata.com/mcp (or add it from finzdata.com/mcp)

Then ask: "Using FinzData, what is the SPX gamma flip today?" or "Backtest a 12-month momentum strategy on survivorship-free S&P 500 data."
